Job Description

We are looking for a full time, enthusiastic and motivated dispatcher with great communication skills and attention to detail to join our team to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of customer shipments.

Responsibilities

Scheduling and dispatching drivers
Data entry into dispatching software
Responding to customer emails
Handle customer queries, customer requests
Send customised quotations for new jobs
Record and maintain files and records of each job performed
Oversee all communication with the drivers on the road
Demonstrate high standards of performance, including teamwork, communications and compassion
Dispatch drivers, provide correct paperwork, BOL’S and plan daily routes
Ensuring that truck drivers comply with transportation regulations and laws
Tracking drivers logs such as dispatched orders and arrival times and POD times
Monitoring truck repairs an ensuring their regular maintenance
Recording customer complaints and make action plan to fix it
Creating dispatch documents along with generating invoices and freight bills
Being in touch with the customers about delivery details such as pick up and delivery times
