Position: Outside Sales Representative – Waterworks
Location: Delta, BC
Pay: $83,500–$88,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday plus overtime

One of our clients, a leading distributor in the industrial pipe, valve, and fitting industry, is looking to hire a full-time Outside Sales Representative for their Delta, BC branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining existing customer accounts, and driving sales growth within the Delta and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

· Build strong client relationships through field visits, calls, and industry events

· Develop and maintain a territory sales plan to achieve targets

· Provide exceptional service by resolving client issues and coordinating with inside sales, credit, and warehouse teams

· Identify new opportunities and follow up on specific project leads

· Monitor account performance and report irregularities to credit and management

· Assist on the order desk and attend trade shows as required

Requirements:

· Minimum 4 years of experience in outside sales or customer service within the waterworks, pipe, or fittings industry

· Proven business development skills

· Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field

· Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications is an asset

· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

· Willingness to travel daily within the region; occasional overnight travel as needed
