Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Building Engineer to handle the daily operation of building maintenance. As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical maintenance. Responsibilities:

· Responds to temperature complaints, Light Bulbs replacement, resetting breakers, equipment, Restroom repairs, Ceiling tile replacement, Operates mechanical equipment (i.e. chillers, pumps, cooling towers, EMS computer, fire alarm system, etc.

· Completing the preventive maintenance task sheet, report any impending supply or materials shortages to the Lead Engineer, Advising Lead Engineer of any equipment problem.

· General Maintenance includes painting and sweeping of mechanical and equipment rooms, maintaining lighting in mechanical rooms, equipment rooms, elevators, and service and public areas, maintaining order in tool room and workshop, recording electrical and water meter readings.

· Perform or oversee vendor maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, fire, life safety, and control systems. Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 10+ years in building maintenance
• Familiarity with centrifugal chillers/ chill water systems and HVAC pneumatic controls
• Previous experience in commercial property maintenance
• Must have a clear background, drug-free status, and clean driving record.
