Air Power Services Inc. is a distributor and service provider of Industrial Compressed Air Systems and Blowers located in Pensacola, FL that has served the Gulf Coast for 38 years. We are looking to hire a full-time service scheduler/coordinator. This position requires good phone presence, professional communication skills, be able to maintain a close working relationship with Technicians, Sales Consultants and Parts personnel and be able to multi-task. A basic understanding of mechanical equipment is preferred. Qualifications:
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Exceptional communication skills through written & verbal means to co-workers, vendors and customers.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Be self-motivated and strive to learn, problem solve and be detail-oriented
- Strong administrative skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- 1 + years of experience in service scheduling/coordination to include logistics and/or customer service is preferred
- Mechanical experience preferred
Responsibilities Include:
- Work under the direction of the Service Manager
- Answer phone and email inquiries accurately and in a timely manner
- Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Dispatch and debrief technicians
- Organize and coordinate daily schedules based on call priority and technician availability
- Maintain and update job board
- Share relevant documentation with the service team
- Aid and direct technicians over the phone
- Enforce the safety programs of the company and customer site regulations (OSHA)
- Respond promptly to customer requests and needs, check product order availability, and provide superior customer satisfaction
- Notify and coordinate all customer drop-off/pick-ups
- Review all shop tickets & submit to accounting
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Required: High school or equivalent education, Valid Driver’s license
Work authorization: United States (Required)
Pay Frequency / Salary / Schedule: Bi-Weekly / $18-20 per hour, based on experience / Monday - Friday 7am – 4pm
