Job Title: Cook

Location: Sundance 19th Hole

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals according to recipes and standards, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, and working efficiently with the team to ensure excellent service and food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service

• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines (including proper storage, temperature controls, and labeling)

• Assist with inventory, receiving deliveries, and proper storage of ingredients

• Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff

• Manage prep and cooking responsibilities during busy hours

• Monitor food waste and help reduce unnecessary loss

• Comply with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar environment

• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods (grill, sauté, oven, fryer, etc.)

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

• Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain one)

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary school or formal kitchen training

• Experience with multiple cuisines or dietary needs (e.g., gluten-free, vegetarian)
