A well-established trucking company is looking for a Trailer Mechanic with something to prove. We are looking for a Trailer mechanic to fill a hybrid position that not only has mechanical knowledge but also experienced in changing and repairing tires for larger vehicles. (Commercial vehicles, forklifts, etc..)

Responsibilities:

· Preform basic mechanical work on commercial flatbed trailers, and routine inspections/preventative maintenance on our fleet of vehicles. Be able to preform basic repairs.

· Will be generally working in a shop environment but will be servicing road-calls in a company provided truck.

· A willingness to assist other shop mechanics with projects, and any other tasks/projects that may come up.

Requirements:

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and be able to stand for long periods of time.

· Must have experience with tractor trailers, Experience in changing tires for tractor trailers is a PLUS. Having welding experience is also a PLUS.

· Must have a clean driving record. (This is case by case)

· Bilingual is preferred.
