IMH Products traces its roots back to the founding of Indiana Material Handling Products, Inc in 1955. The company originally was founded to produce inventory bins that were used for the production of automobiles at Indiana’s many auto factories. In 1988 IMH acquired Premier Stamping, a 30-year-old precision sheet metal fabricator, and in 2017 acquired Sterling Multi Products expanding our geographic reach into the Quad Cities Region while increasing our stamping and large foot print machining capabilities.
Today IMH Products specializes in manufacturing metal components and sub-assemblies. We work closely with our customers to forecast production demand for their products and are willing to create custom inventory programs that allow our customers to reduce their inventory costs while guaranteeing a steady delivery of production parts to keep their factory moving even in times of peak or spike order demand.
We have extensive experience using a wide array of metals including mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. We can handle single prototype runs up to production quantities in the millions of parts per year. Many of our parts are galvanized or powder coated and we are able to pass our volume discounts on to our customers.
