- Compensation: $70,000- $85,000 + Incentives
- Location: Latham, NY- Full-time Onsite
SUMMARY:
- We are a leading HVAC distributor, seeking a skilled and motivated Hydronic Product Specialist to lead and grow its hydronics division. This is a key leadership role responsible for building out a best-in-class hydronic product line—including equipment, parts, and accessories—and driving its success through technical expertise, strategic planning, and sales execution
- This position requires deep knowledge of hydronic heating and cooling systems and the ability to influence purchasing, design, and installation decisions across the customer base. You'll manage inventory levels, develop sales strategies, and serve as a technical advisor to both internal teams and clients
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive hydronics sales through direct customer interaction and support to the outside sales team
- Lead the onboarding and growth of a premium hydronic product line
- Manage inventory and maintain stock levels based on customer demand
- Use ERP tools (e.g., Acumatica) to analyze sales data and guide decisions
- Provide technical support and system design assistance
- Deliver product training to internal staff and customers
- Collaborate with vendors and participate in joint customer visits
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet growth targets
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 7–10 years of experience in hydronic sales, system design, or technical support
- Strong understanding of hydronic principles, installation practices, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant CRM/ERP systems
- Self-starter with organizational agility and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to lead through influence and collaborate across departments
