What You'll Do:

As our Class B CDL Driver & Installation Support Specialist, you'll be a vital part of our operations, ensuring materials arrive safely and projects progress smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Commercial Transport & Delivery: Expertly operate Class B commercial vehicles (gross weight 26,000 lbs or less), adhering strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols. You'll ensure timely and accurate delivery of pipe, fittings, and other crucial materials to various job sites.

• Material Handling & Cargo Securement: Safely and efficiently load and unload diverse cargo, applying best practices for cargo securement to prevent damage during transit. You'll be proficient in handling various materials required for installation.

• Vehicle Maintenance & Safety: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks. Promptly report any mechanical issues to ensure our fleet remains in optimal and safe working condition.

• On-Site Installation Assistance: Work alongside our installation teams, providing hands-on support. This includes utilizing tools and equipment such as welding equipment, pipe threaders, and cutters as needed for pipe installation and other material assembly.

• Communication & Documentation: Maintain clear and effective communication with dispatch, customers, and field teams, providing timely updates and resolving any delivery or on-site issues. You'll diligently maintain accurate delivery logs and all necessary documentation and paperwork.

• Safety & Compliance: Champion a culture of safety by strictly adhering to all company safety procedures and industry regulations at all times, both on the road and at job sites.

What You'll Bring:

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with all appropriate endorsements.

• A clean driving record is essential.

• At least 2 years of proven experience operating Class B vehicles and performing material transport.

• Demonstrated ability in safe loading and unloading techniques and cargo securement.

• Strong practical skills in using various tools and equipment, including welding equipment, pipe threaders, and cutters for installation support.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional demeanor.

• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.

• Solid knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in diverse work environments (indoor/outdoor, various weather conditions).

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a keen safety awareness.
