Overview
We are seeking a caring companion/caregiver to support a special needs young man with his daily living activities. Must be a dependable, compassionate and dedicated person who loves making a positive impact on someone's life.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Companionship and conversation.
• Ensure individuals' safety and maintain a safe living environment.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Light housekeeping tasks/ running errands/ meal/snack preparation when it is needed.

Experience

• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background in AHCA. This is an employee position with APD CDC+ program.
• Spanish language is required.
• Knowledge of Positive Behavior Support.
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is desirable.

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Work Location: In person
