Our client in Orange County is seek a Material Handler to support our daily operations. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound materials, operating forklifts, and ensuring smooth material flow through the production floor. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping/receiving, forklift operation, and working with long, heavy materials in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect inbound materials (e.g., 10-foot metal rods) for quality and accuracy.
• Prepare and package outbound shipments according to aerospace industry standards.
• Use forklift and other material handling equipment to move materials safely across the facility.
• Navigate the production floor with large materials while ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Enter and track materials using computer systems and inventory software.
• Stage materials for production and ensure timely availability to machining departments.
• Maintain clean and organized shipping/receiving and storage areas.
• Collaborate with the production, purchasing, and quality teams to maintain workflow.
• Perform inventory counts and assist in material audits as needed.
• Follow company and industry safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in a warehouse or material handling role (manufacturing/aerospace preferred).
• Forklift operation experience required; certification preferred (or willingness to become certified).
• Comfortable handling long and heavy materials (up to 10 feet in length).
• Basic computer skills: ability to learn and operate shipping/inventory software.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards and procedures is a plus
