Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tekla Modeler and Detailer to join our team in Lindon, Utah. This is an on-site position, and U.S. citizenship is required. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience using Tekla Structures (version 2023 or newer) and a passion for creating highly accurate structural steel models and shop drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 3D models of structural steel components using Tekla Structures (v2023 or newer)

  • Produce accurate shop drawings, erection plans, and material lists

  • Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create constructible models

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to resolve detailing issues

  • Participate in quality control checks and model reviews

  • Manage revisions and updates as projects evolve

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship (required)

  • Willingness to relocate to work on-site in Lindon, Utah

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Tekla Structures (version 2023 or newer)

  • Strong understanding of structural steel detailing and fabrication processes

  • Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with U.S.-based steel fabrication or construction firms

  • Familiarity with AISC standards and codes

  • Experience with connection design and modeling
