Construction Superintendent

About the Company

A fantastic nationwide based general contractor looking for a Superintendent to join their growing team on a project in the Orlando region, this will be a K-12 project so experience in this area is essential.

They have well established relationships throughout the region with subcontractors, engineers and architects to ensure production of the K-12 education projects.

They are now seeking an experienced Superintendent to take a K-12 project through from start to completion.

Experience Required

• At least 2/3 years of experience working as a Superintendent
• Prior experience in building K-12 projects
• Ground-up construction
• Quality Control
• Excellent written and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversight of Assistant Superintendents, Laborers and overall responsibility for site work and progress
• Inspect subcontractor work to ensure alignment with contract obligations and quality standards
• Hold weekly safety and subcontractor meetings
• Monitor work of all hired trades (Carpenters, Laborers)
• Liaise with Project Manager on project risks including safety
