Job Description

Plays a vital role in the procurement process by managing and processing purchase orders. Responsibilities include reviewing orders for accuracy and completeness, maintaining detailed records of all purchased products and services. The clerk also monitors the delivery of goods and services, resolves any discrepancies between orders and invoices, and prepares reports to track and evaluate purchasing activity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and review purchase orders for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain organized records of purchases, pricing, and vendor information
  • Verify with suppliers on pricing on all invoices
  • Resolve discrepancies related to orders, invoices, or deliveries
  • Generate regular reports on purchasing metrics and activity
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure purchasing needs are met


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiar with CMMS Cetaris Preferred
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of purchasing procedures and inventory control
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
