Oncology RN needed to support hospital system in Germantowm, Maryland. .',,Works under the supervision of the Infusion Nurse Manager. Ten-hour shifts (Mon-Thurs) and one Friday per month. The RN must be proficient in IV insertion and PICC line/Port-A-Cath management for ages 18 through end-of life. Nurse should have proficiency in administration of chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, antibiotics, phlebotomy, and blood products as well as management of side effects related to treatment in an interdisciplinary approach. Nurse should be comfortable performing assessment specific to patient disease, treatments being administered, and the side effects of such. Ability for multi-tasking and proficiency in interdisciplinary communication is essential to the role.

The Oncology Infusion RN is responsible for outpatient infusions services including chemotherapy.
