Tool Room Assistant (1st Shift)

Pay range: Starting pay $29.00

Employee is required to work alongside the tool makers to execute tooling maintenance, repairs and manufacture in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Tooling Maintenance: (70%) – Inspect, clean and repair tooling. Manufacture replacement parts when needed.

2. Tooling Manufacture: (15%) – Knowledgeable about horizontal lathes, NC machinery, programming and fixture applications to the SolidWorks model.

3. Assist Tool Makers: (15%) – Assist tool makers in the manufacture of tooling, equipment, and shop floor repairs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required:

• 1-3 years of experience in a Machining environment.
• 1-3 years of experience with inspection equipment.

Preferred:

• 1-3 years of experience with Solidworks
• 1-3 years of experience in fabrication assembly
