At Junquera Family Dentistry, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dental care with a personal touch. Our team is committed to providing a welcoming and efficient experience for every patient, and we're currently seeking a friendly, organized, and experienced Front Desk Check-In Coordinator to join our practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and must excel in providing outstanding customer service while handling administrative tasks with accuracy and professionalism. Experience in dental billing, insurance verification, and familiarity with dental software is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism

  • Verify insurance eligibility and dental benefits

  • Handle dental billing, claims processing, and patient account management

  • Have a complete understanding of pre-treatment estimates, insurance allowed amounts and reading insurance benefits

  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage front desk operations

  • Accurately enter patient information into dental software

  • Maintain organized records and ensure HIPAA compliance

  • Assist in daily office tasks and collaborate with clinical team as needed

Requirements:

  • Must be bi-lingual

  • Able to work Monday-Thursday 9am-7pm

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental office (front desk)

  • Strong knowledge of dental billing and insurance procedures

  • Skilled in verifying insurance eligibility and understanding benefits

  • Proficient in dental practice management software (Dentrix Ascend a must)

  • Excellent multitasking, time management, and communication skills

  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for patient care

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications a plus)
