Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
Location: Alexandria, LA 71301
Shift: 7:00pm-7:00am | 12-hour shifts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Med-Surg Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The RN will be responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document patient health status and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold hospital policies and procedures.
• Monitor for signs of complications and promptly report any changes.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Active BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum [1-2] years of recent Med-Surg experience preferred
