Summary:

Monet Bank (operating under the Beal Bank Texas charter) is seeking an Accounting Analyst. This position reports to the Assistant Controller and will be responsible for the general accounting activities of the organization, including but not limited to accounting for deposits, fixed assets, prepaids, and daily cash activities. This position will also perform various month-end close activities and audit support activities.

This position is based onsite at our Plano, TX headquarters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily and monthly deposit balancing and related accounting activities
• Serve as backup for cash balancing and reconciliations for FHLB, FRB and Branch related activity
• Prepare Call Report supporting schedules for deposits
• Perform all monthly accounting functions for fixed assets
• Serve as cross-functional backup accountant for various accounting areas (cash, subsidiary accounting, month-end close processes, and reconciliations)
• Prepare various monthly and quarterly reports or schedules for internal distribution to support the reporting requirements for Board of Directors, Call Report, tax accountants and auditors

Qualifications (Education, Computer Skills, Certifications, etc.):

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field
• Certified public accountant preferred
• Self-starter with a desire to learn and dig into detailed accounting analysis when needed
• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
• Professional, positive attitude and demeanor
