Job Details

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hollywood, FL for a Manual Machinist. The Manual Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Turret Lathe (VTL) machines to machine components to specified tolerances. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints, measuring and verifying dimensions, maintaining machinery, and ensuring quality control through precise measurements. Collaboration with engineers and adherence to safety protocols are integral parts of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in setting up and operating Vertical Turret Lathe (VTL) machines
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Experience in precision measurement and quality control processes
• Knowledge of machining, welding, and non-destructive testing (NDT) processes
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in an FAA/EASA regulated repair station is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
