Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Houston, TX | On-site
Supporting: Bayou Processing & Storage (under 100 FTEs)
Reports to: Vice President of Human Resources

We’re seeking a hands-on Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who can lead with empathy, act with integrity, and navigate complex conversations with skill. In this role, you’ll work directly with our Vice President of Human Resources to shape the employee experience and support a high-performance, safety-first culture across all levels of the organization.

What You’ll Own and Drive
People Relations & Workforce Support
- Act as a primary liaison between employees, front-line leaders, Senior Leadership, and ECS (Enterprise Corporate Services)
- Conduct grievance reviews, resolve interpersonal conflict, and mediate sensitive issues with professionalism
- Coach team members and supervisors through day-to-day challenges and longer-term growth
Onboarding, Integration & Early Engagement
- Administer new hire processes, background checks, and cross-department coordination
- Conduct structured check-ins and monitor New Hire Engagement Survey feedback
- Maintain the training, safety, and competency matrix for each role
Policy Enforcement & Best Practices
- Provide proactive coaching to supervisors on applying company policies consistently
- Support leaders in documentation and progressive discipline practices
- Uphold ethical standards and act as a steady guide through complex situations
Leadership Development Support
- Offer one-on-one coaching to frontline and mid-level leaders
- Partner with company leadership to surface areas for growth and improvement
- Support rollout of organizational training programs and learning culture initiatives
Performance Review Process & HRIS Oversight
- Manage and monitor review cycles through the HRIS platform
- Provide training and guidance to leaders throughout the process
- Track completion and performance trends, and coach toward alignment with company standards
WHO Method Hiring Support
- Support and train leaders in the use of the WHO Method for Hiring
- Participate in or advise on structured interviews and candidate evaluation
- Ensure fairness, accuracy, and alignment with company needs and values
Worker’s Compensation & RTW Case Management
- Submit WC claims and ensure accurate documentation
- Manage active cases and RTW assessments with medical providers
- Keep leaders informed while advocating for safe, compliant reintegration
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of HRBP or HR Senior Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required (other languages a plus)
- Strong understanding of employment law, performance management, and labor relations
- Solid HRIS experience and comfort with training, coaching, and documentation processes
- Proven ability to influence and coach leaders while holding ethical boundaries
- Comfortable working in a plant environment and partnering with a blue-collar workforce
- Self-driven, grounded, and approachable, you lead with empathy and follow through with precision
